What to expect

People converse in front of scientific research posters at a conference; one poster discusses vascular dysfunction in high-glucose environments.

Pharmacology 2026 features an exciting programme of symposia, keynote and prize lectures, workshops, early career bootcamps, poster sessions and networking.

The conference will bring together students, researchers, people working in industry, academics, clinicians and regulators for three packed days of science and socialising.

Manchester's city skyline at sunset, featuring tall modern skyscrapers and shorter historic buildings, with a clear sky and sprawling urban landscape in the background.

There will also be lots of opportunities to enjoy Manchester, with historic significance on every corner, unique dining experiences, bustling tourist hotspots and iconic hotels throughout the city, you'll have a brilliant time. December is also the perfect time to visit to enjoy the many Christmas markets and do some festive shopping!
