Call for abstracts - now open!

Pharmacology 2024 is a fantastic opportunity to share your work with the wider pharmacology and science community. The British Pharmacological Society is currently accepting abstract submissions for oral communications and poster presentations for the conference.

Please read our abstract requirements document before visiting the submissions portal to ensure your submissions align with our guidelines. This document offers useful information and details the specific criteria for submitting abstracts, helping you to prepare your submissions effectively and ensuring they meet our considerations.

Please note that all accepted abstract presenters must register to attend in-person for Pharmacology 2024. The deadline for abstract submissions is Tuesday 10 September 2024. Authors will be notified of their acceptance from 26 September 2024, allowing you until 29 October 2024 to register in time for the early bird rate.

Oral communications

If your abstract is accepted as an oral communication, you will be asked to present your oral communication in-person during Pharmacology 2024. Oral presenters will have 15 minutes, including questions, so we recommend speaking for no longer than 12 minutes.

Poster presentations

If your abstract is accepted as a poster presentation you will be asked to present your poster in-person during Pharmacology 2024. You can download a copy of our poster preparation guidelines for guidance.
